I can't believe! I reached the post number 500!! Ooooooooooooooh!!

To celebrate this event (yes, it's so important to me that I call it a event) I did the same theme of the first post of this blog. I would post the first drawing here to compare it with the new one, but I'm not going to do that.
Do you know why?
I can't compare if it's better than the first one because that one was part of the process to get to this level.
So far I've been learning a lot, inspired by my parents, my mom who is a skilled artist, by many artists who share they art, by workmates, working hard, dreaming and the most important, losing the fear of trying.
This 500th post means that I chose 500 drawings and sketches that I've been done. There are many others on sketchbooks, on sheets of paper, between my scene controls at work, on the withe board at work and whatever I could draw that I couldn't post because they are not "good enough" to share, but they helped me improve my skills. I just want to thanks God for keeping on me the spirit of motivation and inspiration, He helps me to keep going on when I think to give up.

That's all guys, I can't wait to reach the post number 1000!

Não posso acreditar que eu alcancei o post de número 500! Ooooooooooooooh!!

Para celebrar esse evento (sim, é tão importante pra mim que eu chamo isso de evento) eu fiz o mesmo tema do primeiro post desse blog. Eu poderia colocar o primeiro desenho aqui para compara com o novo, mas eu não vou fazer isso.
Você sabe porquê?
I não posso comparar se está melhor que o primeiro desenho porque aquele desenho faz parte do processo pra chegar nesse nível.
Até agora eu tenho aprendido muito, inspirado pelos meus pais, pela minha mãe que é uma talentosa artista, pelos artistas que compartilham sua arte, pelos meu colegas de trabalho, trabalhando duro, sonhando e o mais importante, perdendo medo de tentar.
O post 500 significa que eu escolhi 500 desenhos e esquetes que eu tenho feito. Tem muito mais nos sketchbooks, em folhas de papel, entre os controles de cena no trabalho, no quadro branco do trabalho e qualquer lugar onde eu pude desenhar. Quero agradecer a Deus por manter em mim o espírito de motivação e inspiração, Ele me ajuda a continuar quando eu penso em desistir.

Isso é tudo galera, eu não posso esperar pra chegar na postagem número 1000!

Here in Brazil, when somebody wants to be recognize about what he/she has done or wants some attention for it, we like to say that person wants "Confetti". You know, that act of throwing confetti to make the occasion more special that it is. This idea appeared when I was talking to my friend Miyu because I was convincing her that her opinion it's important. So, I think I should throw a ball of confetti to make her understand it!

I would love to take real gesture classes, I don't have time and I don't have any idea where I could go to take it, but there are sites that some artists have shared that are helping me a lot! I have to do it more!
Some friends of mine are studying medicine, they see body or parts of body to study anatomy, however gesture classes are different because the body is not dead, it's the entire body that you study, they make expressive poses, then you have to draw it very fast to catch the movements and memorize how the muscles works!

I've got inspired by a TV show about animal that was showing a giant fish that lives in Brazil. I don't remember the name of the species or where it lives, but the only thing I can remember is the expressions of the host (a Brazilian version of that Australian guy). He was so excited for finding that giant fish, he started to hug and kiss it... very embarrassing. So, I decided to draw a girl swimming with the giant fish.
